Introduction.

The necessity of a standard school with modern educational facilities at khagrachari was felt since long by all corners of the society, specially elites as well as many high officials of Government and autonomous sectors in this hill district town. The upcoming children of khagrachari were deprived of a good educational institution. With the co-operation and sincere assistance of the inhabitants of khagrachari, the then Zone Commander's wife Mrs. Arefur Rahaman started the school with 20 students in the Mohila club adjacent to our present school building as "Natun Kuri Kishaloy" in the year 1983. Afterwards it changed its name as Natun Kuri Cantonment High School. The school situated near to the DC office of KC. The land area of the school is .50 acre. The school is fully run by the Khagrachari Region.
